  1. Provide Us a Phone Number/Country of Origin: When contacting G&G, ensure you provide us with a number and the country of origin of the detainee for smoother proceedings.
  2. Deposit the Cashier’s Check: Please deposit the cashier’s check into G&G’s designated account at Bank of America, Chase, or Regions to fulfill the financial aspect of the process.
  3. Email Copies of the Cashier’s Check, etc.: You’ll need to email or fax copies of the cashier’s check, bank deposit receipt, your identification, and the cash bond form to G&G for documentation purposes.
  4. Fill Out the Contract: Complete the G&G contract electronically via DocuSign. This helps to streamline the administrative tasks involved in securing your loved one’s release.
  5. Wait for the Phone Call: After completing the necessary steps, patiently await G&G’s call informing you of the scheduled release of your loved one.

Gonzales & Gonzales Cash Bonds

Before Release

  • Deposit money into our Bank of America, Chase or Regions account
  • Anyone can post bond, regardless of legal status
  • Office open 8 am to 8 pm EST
  • If the bond is not approved by 3pm, you don’t need to do anything. G&G post the bond following business day
  • Accepting cash, cashier’s check and postal money orders

Post Release

  • G&G receive cancellation from DHS
  • Automatically mail you check, usually within a week

DHS Cash Bonds

Before Release

  • Drive to the nearest DHS location accepting bonds
  • Must have legal status to post bond
  • Spend at least 2-4 hours at DHS Office Accepts bonds until 3 pm
  • If the bond is not approved before 3pm, you’ll need to come back the following business day & start process all over
  • No cash (US postal money orders or cashier’s check)

Post Release

  • DHS will mail cancellation to person whom originally paid bond
  • Wait minimum 6-8 weeks for money

DHS Cash Bonds

For DHS Cash Bonds, individuals will need to drive to the nearest DHS location that accepts bonds in order to proceed with the bond posting process. It’s essential to note that only those with legal status are eligible to post bonds. Plan to allocate a minimum of 2-4 hours at the DHS office, as they accept bonds until 3 pm. However, if the bond approval is not obtained before this deadline, individuals will need to return the following business day and start the entire process over.

It’s important to remember that cash payments are not accepted, rather, individuals can utilize US postal money orders or cashier’s checks as acceptable forms of payment.
